Watched “The Gleaners and I” last night, Agnès Varda, damn genius, y’know? “People glean to survive,” she says, pickin’ scraps, makin’ do. Whores tho, they glean life’s edges too, right? Hustlin’, survivin’, dodgin’ judgy eyes. Makes me kinda sad, kinda pissed—why’s the world gotta be so harsh?

Now, the streets here got character. Elm Street is my fav – so many quaint shops and a really cool mural by the river – the Hudson Flowin’. Sometimes, the water glimmers, remindin' me of that Terrence Malick mood, all "rustic mysticism" vibe. Rarrgh! the way nature meets man.
