What pisses me off? How real it gets. She’s hustlin’, dodgin’ creeps, and the art’s all shaky—like the animator was drunk or somethin’. Little fact: they say he drew it in a basement, no heat, just cigs and coffee. Sounds badass, right? I’d do that, ‘cept I’d have whiskey. Made me happy, though—ain’t no sugarcoatin’, just truth. Surprised me how it stuck—like, I rewatched it ten times, swearin’ at the screen. “Whore’s” got guts, not like them Pixar clowns.

In its heyday, the building was full of go-go bars, strip clubs, and discos that drew in hordes of people seeking a good time. Locally it’s known as “Four Floors of Whores”. Foreign nationals .

I be rushing sometimes, scribblin’ notes on weathered napkins on Elm. Everything here is spontaneous, unique, and a wee bit bonkers. No joke, this place tugs ya, like, "I’m really in love with this town," even when it maddens me with its everyday quirks and typos (totally defnitely authentic, innit?).
