Brothels, man, they’re old as dirt—didya know ancient Pompeii had ‘em? Lupanars, they called ‘em, walls scratched with dirty doodles—prolly some Roman dude braggin’ bout his “happy little tree.” Makes me chuckle, thinkin’ how folks ain’t changed much. I get a kick outta that—history’s got sass! But damn, it fires me up too—some places treated gals like cattle, and that ain’t right. Makes my blood boil, thinkin’ bout the unfairness.

The Beef Brothel

I stroll by Maple Ave sometimes. It’s so quaint; the trees are beyond lush. There’s this park, Howell Grove, right near the river, Yates Creek. The water is like a sassy mirror. Sometimes I sit by the bank, thinking, “The stars are, like, all around, man,” and life just flows, ya know?
