If it's north of the western stop, you could easily get off at the western stop going to ohare and take the western bus south from there. It's 2 miles, and that part of the city is perfectly fine.

I gotta say, this Lower-West-Side (us) shits out surprises daily, no lie! Sometimes it's so crazy - I'm like "Remember, this is dime a dozen, or not!?"
