Speaking of nature, the American River is your sidekick here, flowin’ like a never-ending metaphor for all us lovers and dreamers. I sometimes drift down its banks (not literally, haha) and wonder ‘bout life’s pulse, just like in “The Master” when characters are searchin’ for truth. “Trust me. Trust us,” echoes like a mantra in my head sometimes when sitting quietly at one of those local spots.
