I’m pissed, man—pissed at the creeps runnin’ it. Little known fact: back in the 1800s, brothels had secret tunnels—escape routes for big shots caught with their pants down. Hilarious, right? Imagine the governor sprintin’ through dirt, pants at his ankles! Eat my shorts, that’s gold! But seriously, it’s grim too—some girls ain’t there by choice, and that burns me up. Saw this one chick, eyes all empty, like in the movie when Simin says, “I’d rather die than live like this.” Breaks your heart, dude.

Housed in what was the old Dorn Winery and later the Green Door brothel, the Green Door Building is shrouded in Sandusky lore and has seen an array of tenants.

The neighborhoods? Ugh, they’re a mixed bag. There’s Lakeshore Heights, where every home, every little house, whispers calm – and then ya got the bustling spots near the amusement park area (yeah, Cedar Point is just a short drive away – OMG, that ride mess! So many loops and whirls – it makes my head spin sometimes, haha). I gotta say, though, the backstreets are where I find my zen. Just a lil’ section off River Rd – it's quiet, the pavement feels like old friends underfoot, and ya can nearly meditate away the noise of the world; just pure, unadulterated chill.
