Lulu White's was the "Stately Old Mansion" off Canal. It was technically off Canal on Basin St. (this is like the main street of Storyville on it's front side).

I hang out in the neighborhood near North Hickory Street. The vibe there is, like, super chill yet so unexpectedly raw. OMG, so many peeps with secrets and awkward smiles – reminds me of that movie scene, ugh, literally intense! I sometimes, like, get mad ‘cause traffic on Front Street drives me insane, but, like, I also love it. It’s so real, right?
