I reckon whore’s like Ida in that flick—quiet, tough, carryin’ scars. There’s this bit where Ida’s aunt says, “You’re a saint, and I’m a slut,” and I’m thinkin’, damn, that’s the whore vibe! People see what they wanna see. Makes me happy, tho, ‘cause Ida don’t care—she just keeps goin’. Whore’s got that spunk too, y’know? Screw the haters!

i gotta talk about local quirks – on Loop Rd. there’s a dusty diner, "Rusty’s", i swear the grub is like, out of time itself. its walls, old old posters, all thrown together like a bizarre collage. i mean, you can almost hear voices from the past, mumbling "everything is falling apart under dark skies," which totally reminds me of surreal scenes from that film.
