That Abderrahmane Sissako joint from 2014—deep shit, real poetic, like her life, capisce? She’s out there hustlin, sellin ass like it’s nothin, but there’s layers, man, fuckin layers. Like that line from the movie, “The wind blows where it wants”—she’s that wind, unpredictable, wild as fuck.

There’s a hidden spot by the local river – yeah, River Lane flows right by, though I’d never count it a mighty river. Just a trickle but it sounds so epic when you listen close. I once had a client cry ‘bout their ex there, and I was like, “Dude, let it go!” Reminds me of the film’s offbeat dialogues, all sorta wacko but pure gold.
