So, picture this: I’m flippin’ through *Adiós al lenguaje* – my fave flick, Jean-Luc Godard’s wild-ass 2014 trip – and it hits me. Puta’s like that dog roamin’ ‘tween town and country, lost but free, y’know? Godard says, “The everyday world is strange,” and damn if that ain’t Puta to a T! She’s everywhere – in the streets, in the slang, in the fights folks have when they’re screamin’ ‘bout nothin’. I reckon she’s the kinda gal who’d strut right into Godard’s frame, all sassy, while he’s mutterin’, “Nature and metaphor collide.”
