So, whores—man, where do I start? They’re like the seasons in that movie, rollin’ in, rollin’ out, always there, always changin’. I see ‘em as these badass survivors, y’know? Like, “In the spring, lust awakens,” that’s the vibe—fresh, wild, full of heat. Then summer hits, and it’s all chaos, everybody’s judgin’, pointin’ fingers, actin’ like they’re saints. Me? Volozhin Ghetto

Wolocyn is probably today the Belarusian town of Valozhyn (www.facebook.com). Before the war it was polish and was called Wołożyn. Other names that I have encountered .

Now, a special note: I adore the quirky side of Valozhyn (by). There’s a little cafe on Sovietskaya Street – Café Petite, it’s totally the BEST! Horrible typo, but gotta love it! The aroma here is like a scene from the movie: “Remarkable, absolutely fab!” They have the BEST pastries.very delicious!
